Electrical Engineer

Location: Tulsa

Reports to: Director of Electrical Engineering

Team: Electrical Engineering

Education: B.S. Electrical Engineering degree or Architectural Engineering degree from an ABET accredited college

Licensure: Licensed Electrical or Architectural Engineer

Experience: 5+ years electrical design experience in the architectural/built environment


Electrical engineer with active power and lighting design project experience in the retail, commercial, government and educational markets. The selected candidate will provide electrical engineering expertise while working with our electrical design team.


  • Design and develop drawings and specifications for a building’s lighting, power, electrical distribution, emergency, and grounding systems
  • Perform lighting and power engineering calculations
  • Design to applicable standards and codes
  • Coordination with the client, contractors, and other disciplines
  • Evaluate, select and specify appropriate electrical equipment/systems
  • Stamp and sign engineering documents
  • Provide construction administration engineering services
  • Manage budgets, schedules and scope of work
  • Low voltage system design experience and certification (e.g. RCDD) is preferred, but not required
  • Medium voltage (>600V) system design experience is preferred, but not required


  • Working knowledge of Revit and or AutoCAD
  • Working knowledge of the NEC, IBC, IEC, NFPA, IESNA and other appropriate codes and standards
  • Successfully monitor project schedules, budgets, and scope of work
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to identify and correctly respond to project needs
  • Effectively build and maintain relationships with clients, owners, contractors, and all team members
  • Maintain a positive and professional work environment
